Science 2: Mimic

This is a Guillermo del Toro film from 1997.  I am a huge fan of his, and was really hoping that he would be able to stick out The Hobbit project....but not at surprised that he didn't given Peter Jackson's "approach" to film making (never mind that he never would have been on board with making that book into a ridiculous 3 movie trilogy! [reduntant alert!]), but oh well, I certainly hope that it means that he gets to double down on some of his other projects, such as his planned films of Lovecraft's At The Mountains Of Madness.  This has scientist Dr. Susan Tyler (Mira Sorvino) is hailed as a hero when she is able to stop with spread of a dread children's disease that is spread by cockroaches, her field of study, when she accidentally unleashed some deadly, and super scary, mutated insects on the world.  Before you know it, they get into the subway system.  That's never good!

This guy wouldn't hurt you....no.
REAL WEIRD SCIENCE!
